COMPOSITION
Each uncoated bolus contains:
Tylosin Tartrate BP (Vet) …… 600 mg
Excipents…………………………… q.s.
Colour ……………… Approved colour
INDICATIONS:
For Gram - positive bacteria and mycoplasma infections.
For susceptible bacteria infections, it can
be used for coccidiosis and also for toxoplasmosis.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE :
Oral administration
Livestock 60 kg / bolus ,Poultry 30-36 kg / bolus
Camels: Young - 2 bolus, Adult 4 bolus
Cattle, horse, swine:
Young – 1 bolus adult – 2-3 bolus,
Sheep and goats – 0.5-1 bolus.
STORAGE :
Sealed in a dry place protected from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
CONTRAINDICATIONS & PRECAUTIONS:
Do not administer orally to rodents and rabbits.
Do not administer to horses.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Milk – 7 days, Meat - 28 days
ADVERSE REACTION :
Tylosin may cause diarrhea in some animals.
Skin reactions have been observed in pigs.
Administration to horse has been fatal.
