Each uncoated bolus contains:
Sulfadiazine BP .........................................1000 mg
Trimethoprim BP..........................................200 mg

INDICATIONS:
Actinobaciliosis, actinomycosis, colibacillosis, mastitis, strangles, salmonellosis, Infectious keratitis, infectious polyarthritis, foot rot, necrotic rhinitis, canine erlichosis, toxoplasmosis, coccocidiosis, respiratory
tract infections, uro-genital tract infections, G.I. tract infections
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
ORAL:
Large Animals : 4 bolus daily
Small Animals : ½ - 1 bolus daily
INTRUTERINE:
Large Animals : 2-3 bolus per day for 3 days
Small Animals : ½ - 1 bolus per day for 3 days
WARNING/CONTRA INDICATION:
Animal should not be slaughtered until 3 days after the last treatment with Trim Sulf bolus. Milk from
treated cows should not be used 5 days after the last treatment with Trim Sulf.
prolonged treatment should be avoided especially in young livestock as it may cause avitaminosis.
ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY:
The combination of Trimethoprim and Sulfadiazine is bactericidal in nature and active against both Gram
positive and Gram Negative organism namely Actinobacillus ligneiresii.
Actinomyces bovis, Coryne bacterium pyogenes, Erlichi canis, Escherichia coli, fusiformis necrophorus.
Haemophilus suis,Klebsiella,Moraxella bovis Neo rickettsia helminthoeca, pasteurella haemolytica,
Pasteurella multicoda, salmonella pecies, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus equi, Toxoplasma, gondll and Coccidia.
