Composition:
Each uncoated bolus contains:
Albendazole ............150 mg.
Indications:
Petazole 150 is a wide spectrum anthelmintic, effective against the
following types of internal parasites in animals such as cattle, Sheep, goats,
camels and other ruminants ... etc.
Lung worms Dictyocaulus viviparous & Dictycaulus filaria..
Gastrointestinal Worms Bunostomum spp., Cooperia spp.,
Chabertia spp., Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus spp.,
Ostertagia spp. Trichuris spp., Metastrongylus spp. ...etc
Tape Worms Moniezia spp.
Heart worms D-filaria spp.
Dosage & administration :
For oral administration to control the following parasites:
- For roundworms, lung Worms and tapeworms:
Sheep, goats, cattle and camels : 5 mg per kg of live body weight.
- For Liver fluke:
Sheep, goats, cattle and camels : 7.5 mg per kg of live body weight.
Withdrawal period :
Meat : 10 days, Milk: 3 days.
Caution :
Not recommended for treatment of acute Fascioliasis (Fasciola spp.).
Not recommended for dogs and cats.
Accurate assessment of live body weight is important for better results.
