Each ml Contains:
Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride BP ... 200 mg
2-Pyrrolidone ................................... 65%v/v
Water for Injection BP ............................ q.s.
Treatment of infections caused by germs being sensitive to oxytetracycline with reservation
that active concentrations will be attained on the infection spot.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Avoid the use in animals being hypersensitive towards tetracyclines.
Avoid the use in animals having a disturbed liver and / or kidney function.
Do not administer to horses because of the danger of colitis.
20 mg oxytetracycline/kg b.w. (1ml OXYDIPS 20% L.A. per 10 kg b.w.), intramuscularly.
Do Not administer more than 25 ml per injection site.
Depending on the severity of the disorder and the duration of the pressure of the infection,
it might be necessary to repeat the treatment after 72 hours (3 days).
In case of a second injection, do not use the same injection site.
