PROPERTIES :
OXFENZAN PLUS is an anthelmintic with a broad spectrum
containing Oxyclozanide, which is a derivative of Salicylanilide
and Oxfendazole which is a derivative of Benzimidazole
INDICATIONS :
OXFENZAN PLUS is an anthelmintic indicated for the treatment and control of parasites of cattle and sheep,
including gastrointestinal worms, lungworms, mature flukes and tapeworm (Moniezia sp.).
- Flukes: Fasciolahepatica, Fasciola gigantica (mature). - Gastro-intestinal roundworms (adults, larvae and eggs) :
Ostertagia,Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus, Cooperia.
(including inhibited larvae), Bunostomum, Chabertia,Trichuris, Oesophagostomum
- Lungworms : Dictyocaulus sp. (larva and adults).
- Tapeworms : Moniezia (adults).
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION :
Oral route.Cattle and sheep : the recommended dosage is 1 tablet per 250kg bw (Oxfendazole 5mg/kg and
Oxyclozanide 15mg/kg).
INTERACTIONS :
Do not administer simultaneously with bromsalane derivates.
SIDE EFFECTS :
Animal may show slight softening of the faeces.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD :
Cattle : meat 28 days, milk 5 days (10 milking)
Sheep : meat 21 days,
do not use in sheep whose milk is intended for human consumption.
PRECAUTIONS :
Keep out of reach of children.
Store far from food.
OXFENZAN PLUS is not recommended during
the first third of pregnancy.
