Composition :
Each uncoated bolus contains:
Levamisole HCI BP.........................1000 mg
Oxyclozanide BP (Vet)................... 1400 mg
Excipients ...............................................q.s.
Indications :
Fasconil 2400 Bolus is a broad spectrum anthelmintic for the routine
control of nematode infestations and chronic fascioliasis in cattle.
Oxyclozanide removes practically flukes (Fasciola spp) present in the
bile ducts. Levamisole removes mature and developing immature
stages of wide range of nematodes and is highly effective against the
following species :
In the abomasum : Hemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus spp.
In the intestines : Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus,
Oesophagostomum, Chabertia and Bunostomum spp.
In the lungs : Dictyocaulus spp. Including inhibited larvae of D.viviparus.
Dosage and administration : 1 Bolus per 150 kg body weight.For animals
weighing 300 Kg and above a maximum of 2 boli should be given. The Bolus
may be Broken into half to enable the dose to be administered in units of
75kg body weight. Fasconil 2400 Bolus is administered orally.
Administer by means of a balling gun or disperse in water and give orally.
Withdrawal Period :
Meat : 28 days,
Milk : 3 days
